Chris, I found that in the Openoffice help the section on Printing which described the steps necessary to create the links from label to label that advances the data merged. Since MS Word does this teps as the default, I was confused when Openoffice didn't.
Would recommend that the help info specifically duplicate this info from the printing entry to the general merge entry.
