I’m using ubuntu 9.4 (jaunty jackalope) and still report the same problem. When I next to the wireless rooter and the signal is strong I don’t have any problem. When the signal his week the connection starts to drop. So workaround I use the command:
iwconfig wlan1 rate 11M fixed and Works fine When I was using the 8.4 with a patch it works fine.
