Public bug reported:

I'm on a Mac mini where the wired network is always connected. But
Network Manager seems to be defaulting to the wireless every time I log
in, so I always have to dismiss two dialogs. This is on Intrepid. It
didn't happen on Hardy.

I have tried disabling the wireless network in the right-click menu, and
tried "edit connections" and deleting the wireless network, but Network
Manager forgets both of these changes when I reboot.

apt-cache policy network-manager says it's
0.7~~svn20081018t105859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1

I'm attaching the relevant part of the syslog.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
