Re the comments in #310122 re fixing it in hardy 8.04 / 8.04.1 This is a LTS release specificially so people don't have to upgrade to the most recent version with all the possible 'new' bugs that might entail.
Please tell me what LTS means if your solution is to upgrade to Intrepid which is not LTS? You are putting us on a path of upgrading to every new version instead of getting the support.
