I installed these packages via apt-get. I'm afraid I am rather traditional in this regard. Yes I do have the full KDE meta package installed and also "kubuntu-desktop" - indeed I pretty much have all of the KDE applications (except unneeded language packs) that are listed as available on the current Kubuntu repositories.
It does not help that I have the package you suggested installed. Indeed as time progresses it seems as I install more of my preferred software, more and more items are being added to this list of suggested items for automatic removal.
