Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
When update-manager is running, it cannot be put below other windows, it brings itself to the front again. It also de-iconifies itself. Therefore it is very difficult to use other programs running in parallel. I use the compiz window manager and 'gnome-ubuntu'. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 $ apt-cache policy update-manager update-manager: Installed: 1:0.93.34 Candidate: 1:0.93.34 Version table: *** 1:0.93.34 0 500 ... intrepid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:0.93.32 0 500 ... intrepid/main Packages ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: grave -- update-manager brings itself to front https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319510 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
