Well Reuben's break is confirmed for my system. However geekfreak's fix will not work for me.
The only fix found on two screens with different resolutions, is to 'alt+tab' to a window on screen 1. Attempt to move that window on screen 1 with 'alt+F7'. This first attempt fails, so I alt+tab back to screen 0 (primary display) and alt+F7 to move a window and the mouse click will start working again. It does seem RANDR is linked and the cause of some deeper issues in 8.10 that was non-existant in 8.04. Will post again when I find a 'mousemove' number that works. -- X.org will stop responding to mouse clicks on Ibex with Xinerama.
