"I'm not sure, but in hardy it seemed to work faster ( I'm sure i didn't anything like changing max baud rate)"
Could you test it both in hardy and jaunty alpha? gmobilemedia and irda-utils packages are the same in hardy and intrepid (and in jaunty till now). I can't imagine that they have broken. If it works in jaunty then it must be kernel related. Some dmesg output would be nice. Consult these bugs, maybe they help: "Fixed baudrate setting in irda-utils prevents Nokia 6100 from working" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/irda-utils/+bug/143988 "IrDA baud_rate not configurable at boot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/irda-utils/+bug/292779 -- frezees trying to connect 6610i via sigmatel stir4200 irda https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290010 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
