I commented on the previous bug. Mine is a dv5230tx, Intel T2250 Core2Duo, PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wireless and nVidia GeForce Go 7400. Suspend/resume had never worked for me until I upgraded to Intrepid (I've tried every release since Dapper) and now it works almost flawlessly.
I have linux-image-2.6.27-9-generic and linux-backports- modules-2.6.27-9-generic installed.
