Gerald, your dialog is great! It took just several hours of self training instead of getting simple advice - just turn on the hidden files... Be patient talking to gurus. I have the same bug on KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 beta 2) on Kubuntu Intrepid that appeared after upgrading to kde 4.2, still did nof find the solution (even kde bugreport site does not have anything). I'll post when find out.
