Reading all the applause makes me think i am doing something wrong. But: For me (Intrepid+proposed), this does not fix the issue. Suspend to ram -> resume gives me an APM level of 128.
Switching from battery to ac power does set apm 254 - it's the same script doing that, so it's not my wrong laptop-mode config.
