With update to mesa 7.3 and other dependent packages from edgers repository I'm down to ~50 FPS in glxgears (from ~300). Under 2.6.28 is GEM enabled and HW accel. is ON but 3D performance is same low and compiz is useles. For example, connecting to remote desktop (terminal server client) uses 50% CPU time nonstop.
