@ dennis1200 You don't have to repartition, there is LiveCD. I tried LiveCD of Jaunty alpha2 and the problem still exists.
I'll try LiveCD of daily build of Hardy 8.04.2. But I hope it's not supposed to upgrade the whole X.org?
