Two questions: 1) Is there any workaround that does not involve [re]compiling nvidia drivers? 2) Is this something unfixable? can't we just edit nvidia package to remove the problem? Or xserver-xorg, if the problem lives there.. I thought this problem was caused by this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-177/+bug/308410/comments/2 and I can't understand why IgnoreABI is necessary.. My apologies for my ignorance .-.
