hi leann, thanks for the reply, i hope i found the problem I ran a memory test and my main memory was very bad the test screen (memtest86) went red immediately , just bought and install'd new (wow memory is really getting cheap) and so far everything seems fine again.Sorry I never had a problem like this i will check first next time .
The sonypi messages is a bit strange as wel sonypi as sony_laptop module are loaded according to lsmod, somewhere up in the dmesg are some sony_laptop lines ,il have a look at it later.
