Hi Bernhard, In 4) for I wrote, that the top of the row usable. This changed the last 24 hours, because I changed some settings in "compiz" to get my desktop somehow work. The top row appeared randomly and since then 12 hours it is gone.
But I read now your hints... 1) I changed "gnome-appearance-properties" -> "Visual Effects" -> "Normal". The top row is now back. 2) The get my "application switcher" back, I went to "compiz" -> "windows administration" -> checked "application switcher". Now, everything is working again! Thank you for your help!!! Great work!!! P.S: I will check if the Firefox crash will happen again.
