Deleting ~/.kde/share/config/kwinrulesrc has no effect, the file is recreated almost instantly.
I also deleted /usr/share/kubuntu-default- settings/kde4-profile/default/share/config/kwinrulesrc But the window sizes still don't get saved. Instead of the small windows using kwinrulesrc the konqueror window now is whole screen wide and half screen high.
