Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fvwm
I use 'fvwm' in the default "mouse follows focus" mode. When a window (e.g. Firefox) on top of an xterm is closed (e.g. with Ctrl-W), so that this xterm becomes the new top level window with the mouse cursor alread within, the xterm will not have the focus despite the fact that it contains the mouse pointer. It is necessary to move the mouse cursor out of that window and back again to get the focus. This is always reproducible. There seems to be no problem if the closing window is another xterm. $ apt-cache policy fvwm fvwm: Installed: 1:2.5.26-1 Candidate: 1:2.5.26-1 Version table: *** 1:2.5.26-1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I observed this bug since Ubuntu 8.04. I tried to modify my .fvwm2rc, and even without any .fvwm2rc, without avail.
