I know, I couldn't find any error logs either! I was going to write about
the fact that no logs seem to be generated in my post but I figured I just
wasn't looking in the right place.

And yes, I have Windows dual-booted (video games :/) so IDE mode is not an
option. Here's hoping the kernel developers take notice...
