@pablomme - Before I roll back can you try the linux-backports- modules-2.6.27_2.6.27-11.12 in my PPA at http://ppa.launchpad.net/timg- tpi/ubuntu. the i3945 driver is undergoing some upstream work and I may have just updated from wireless-testing at a bad time.
It might take a bit.
