Public bug reported: r...@station3:~# lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 r...@station3:~#
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Ubuntu 8.10 installed on it. With normal user logged in and battery fully charged, power backup lasts for 1 hour 45 minutes where as with "root" user it's only lasts 1 hour 35 minutes. Not sure why does "root" user provides less battery backup and where are the remaining 10 minutes going? To me this seems to be a bug... ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "root" user consuming more power. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/314813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
