Dear All,
I have exactly the same issue on a DL380 G3 running ubuntu 8.10.
I tried all the clocksource parameters below but without success

clocksource=    (acpi_pm, pit, hpet, tsc, vmi-timer)

Regarding the problem I'm not sure this is du to a problem with the
clock because in all case, even if I get an error to set the system
clock, the boot sequence continue and stop on loading manual drivers.

Is there another way to solve this issue?

thanks in advance.

Happy new year.
