Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt

Hi, whenever I do an apt-get update or apt-get install of something I
get this message:

"The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

Several of these packages (most of them) I chose to install and do not
wish to uninstall. How can I make this message go away?
