Hi Cesar, Cesar Arguinzones [2009-01-05 22:32 -0000]: > I have same problem as endolith. But as long as my laptop is not having > problems, i'm not interested in > any type of logs. Is there a way to disable ALL logging in ubuntu?
I'd strongly advise against disabling *all* logging, but you can change /etc/syslog.conf to only log messages with levels "error" and above, which will ignore all the debug/info/warning stuff. See "man syslog.conf" for details. -- High frequency of load/unload cycles on some hard disks may shorten lifetime https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59695 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
