Adding another "me too". Two nvidia 8600 GT cards with four monitors on 8.10 with everything updated and using Xinerama. I generally run a couple instances of firefox, thunderbird, pidgin, intellij, and a couple of terminal sessions. It seems to usually happen when I'm entering or leaving either firefox or thunderbird. I'd be happy to provide any other information if needed.
