** Description changed:

Since I switched to intrepid, I have display problem. This is a non blocking
problem but is very anoying, and does not look like somthing good to people
looking at ubuntu for the first time.
When I open a window in X, it first display very crapp before displaying
correctly. I attached a sceenshot of what i call a crappy display wihle opening
firefox (but it may happen with other windows, even with gdm sometimes).

- According to Xorg.0.log, xorg uses intel X driver, chipset is 965GM,
- acceleration method is EXA.
+ According to Xorg.0.log, xorg uses intel X driver, chipset is 965GM,

+ when compiz disabled and replaced by metacity, the problem no longer appear.
When using XAA instead of EXA and compiz, i get a window filled with black
instead of the crapy stuff i got when using EXA...

- I will update shortly to see if the problem still occur without compiz
- or with another acceleration method.
+ This sounds to me a intel xorg driver related problem, but i may be
+ wrong.
