Hi Lupine. You're right, the position and the size of the boxes are memorized, 
I was speaking about the first launch, i. e. when you've just installed the 
system and then you try The Gimp.
In fact, that's not a problem for me, because I'm used to Ubuntu and I resize 
the windows in 5 seconds, but for a new user, he has to know that they are 
still some tools in the back of the hidden boxes and he has to try to resize it 
himself. He could be a frustration point for him. After that, there is no 
problem at all but... ok it's a minor bug. I just wanted to tell it ;-)
