Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Create a directory. In that directory, create a file of the same name. Copy or cut the file and paste into the parent directory. A dialog box saying "A folder named (name) already exists. Do you want to replace it?" Click "replace" and both the folder and the directory are deleted. Nautilus should probably either refuse to copy the file or display a clearer warning and then replace the folder with the directory. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- replacing directory with contained file of same name behaves strangely https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
