BusyBox appears with multiple errors all saying: END_REQUEST: I/O ERROR, DEV SR0 SECTOR 8981816 BUFFER I/O ERROR ON DEVICE SR0 LOGICAL BLOCK 1122727 The sector and logical block numbers change but remain close to those values. This continues for several minutes until the system gives up and BusyBox awaits a command. My system is a Dell Inspiron 1150 and I am currently running Hardy Heron with no issues. This problem first appeared during an attempted load of an Alpha test version. Nothing I tried resolved the issue so I gave up - hoping to have it resolved in the release version. I have scanned the - DVD using Hardy Heron and found no problems. + hoping to have it resolved in the release version. The DVD does load + and checks out okay using my Dell Dimension E310. A search of the internet indicates that this is a widespread problem with suggested solutions such as "burn your DVD at a slower speed" etc. - I am dissappointed as this is a factory DVD released to the public (I - got it out of a copy of Linux Pro magazine).
