I borrowed a friend's copy of Windows XP (with sp2). After making a copy as directed above, I was able to begin an installation of XP.
The install proceeds until it hits the first reboot of the XP install at which point I am asked to CTRL + ALT + DELETE. However, the install fails at this point as I am unable to perform this action. But I believe that this is an existing but, correct? It seems like this bug can be squashed. -- Virtual XP install problem: Setup Cannot Recognize Disk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/309627 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
