Im a new ubuntu user .
Since i installed ubuntu, i havent been getin any sound via my laptop speakers
nor my larger creative spekers.
i have a compaq(HP) laptop with an onboard audio card. while on xp i was
useing ealteck audio drivers.
thing is when i downloaded VLC nto ubunto and increased sound to 400% i coud
faintly hear some sound viva my larger creative speakers.
I would try to get the sound working as soon as possible.What do i do?
PS:Also my mozilla keeps asking me to restart ever time sayin that it has
downloaded new updates for me!!! whats wrong here??
