Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 64bits.

The sound is not working at all on my Asus z83k laptop.
It seems that I have an Intel HDA sound card.
I have tried many different models (options snd-hda-intel model=...) in my 
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file but none of them is working.

I have run the alsa-info.sh script and the result can be seen here :
