Hello Gerard, that file you attached is not valuable, that is a backtrace, but it is not useful if you haven't debuggin symbols installed. To can obtain a good backtrace, install debuggin symbols by installing "kdebase-dbg" package and reproduce the crash. What version of KDE are you running? you can view it checking the version of "kdebase-bin" and "kdebase-plasma" packages you have installed in Adept. It is strongly recommended to install recommended updates and security updates for Intrepid, please be sure you have these updates installed.
