Public bug reported: The device is said to be supported, with the gspca_pac7311 driver: http://moinejf.free.fr/webcam.html
The webcam's USB id is: ID 093a:262c Pixart Imaging, Inc. I am running Ubuntu 8.10. No /dev/videoX device is created, and no program can use the camera. According to the changelog on that same site, support for my specific USB ID was added in 2.4.0, but apparently the kernel only has 2.0 (I may mave misread that, though). I tried to build the driver myself, but there are unknown symbols in the ko files created by the makefile, so I'm at a loss. ** Affects: gspca (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Philips SPC 230 NC not detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
