Public bug reported: Fresh install of Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex plus updates. Sound works fine eg. can hear system sounds & sound from Flash movies on BBC website.
Then installed KDETV & TVTime to try to get TV card to work. Now sound does not work (not from TV nor from system startup or Flash movies). I have two partitions, so I've got one that has sound working (no TV packages) and one that has no sound. I've tried following debugging guides but haven't got anywhere.
