2.24.2 is a stable update to the 2.24 series, so it might be possible to
consider it for a SRU for Intrepid. I've subscribed ubuntu-sru for their
thoughts.
Looking at the upstream changelog, this update fixes 4 bugs with no
other changes (one of these is LP bug 282371):
