Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

On Jaunty, if I open a gnome-terminal and run:
$ netstat -atuvpnec

CPU usage is way up and the gnome desktop is very unresponsive. Running
'top' I see that Xorg is taking up the vast majority of CPU.

$ ps auxww|grep 11213
root     11213 51.3  3.5  80332 54128 tty7     Rs+  09:26  15:31
/usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 -br -audit 0 -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth -nolisten tcp vt7

$ sudo strace -v -f -p 11213 -c
