I have the same problem in OO 2.4.1-ubuntu2.1 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. I want to use font replacement for a (corporate-identity) font i don't have installed (and can't easily download it as i am not an employee), but is used in an imported PPT presentation. I can define the replacement, but it doesn't come into effect.
