Installing VBoxGuestAdditions 2.1.0 on an Ubuntu 8.10 guest in a VirtualBox 2.1.0 on Windows XP SP3 host sets the keyboard layout on US. Work-around is installing VBoxGuestAdditions 2.0.6 after 2.1.0. See http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/2793.
