Another wrinkle. I'm on intrepid, and have been seeing this bug. I just booted a Jaunty live cd (alpha 2) to look at another bug. This bug is also "fixed". *However*, when I rebooted into my Intrepid install, but bug was also "fixed" (i.e., bad behavior is not occurring).
I don't believe that any updates have occurred between that last two reboots to Intrepid. Given the history on this, this leaves me wondering if this bug might not be showing itself intermittently. And, of course, if this is the case, it might not actually be fixed in Jaunty.
