Your 'ufw status verbose' output shows that you have no application rules in your firewall. Packets are being blocked because you have a default 'deny' policy. While the default application policy is 'allow', you have no rules referencing the application in your firewall. You must do either: $ sudo ufw app update --add-new OpenSSH
