Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: samba

i have a USB and NET-access (ethernet) via FTP or SAMBA disk
i copied some downloaded git sources onto it via USB
later i connected to it via SAMBA :
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.103/NADAV /mnt/storage --verbose -o
guest,nounix,iocharset=utf8

i can mv,cp, rm... just fine EXCEPT removing ".git" (hidden) folders !
if i create a new .folder on the shared disk i can later remove it
BUT already hidden folder will not remove.
i am getting IO Error when i try "rm -rf /somefolder"
