For people reading this bug report: I have a similar issue that only happens after suspend: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/312144
For me networking works just fine, except for suspending, so I don't think any defaults should be modified, unless those defaults would fix the suspend problem. Testing shows that they do not fix it. So instead of hacking defaults for everybody, the remaining issues really should be fixed in the forcedeth driver, which should somehow detect which hardware works with current defaults and which hardware requires special settings. -- Ethernet (nVidia MCP55) not working [ gutsy, hardy] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136836 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
