Clemente, I just applied the patch and it worked. Did you get any errors or anything that would help narrow the issue down?
Also, there is a parameter in the usbhid.ko module called 'rdesc_quirks'. If I can figure out the proper syntax, I might be able to 'turn off' that quirk without a kernel patch.
