This is definitely a bug, but I think it's more than a problem with libgphoto2, can someone please tell me where this bug report should be reported. Here is some more information:
-I did get my camera to work using DigiKam, but I am not notified when I plug in my camera (as I was with 8.04). -The device notifier never sees the camera. -Most interestingly, if I open "camera:/" with Dolphin, it sees my camera, but I click on the folder and it opens another folder with another folder "Canon EOS 350D". If I open this folder, the same thing happens until I am looking at this path: camera://Canon%20Digital%20Rebel%20XT%20%28normal%20mode%29@/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D I used to be able to open my camera like a folder, but no longer can. -- Canon XT doesn't work with Kubuntu 8.10 in PTP or normal mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310078 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
