OK, here's what I do: 1. System > Assistive Technologies 2. Check 'Enable assistive technologies' 3. Under Preferences, click on Keyboard Accessibility button 4. Check the box next to 'Simulate simultaneous keypresses', but _not_ the one below it on 'Disable...' 5. Click 'Close' on both dialog boxes.
Sticky Keys gets activated for some time, and then gets deactivated without any notification.
