Leann, I'm going to have to agree with sleon's comment that -11 does fix the powernowd issue. Other issues in the -11 kernel prevent me from keeping it on the system (Broadcom STA and fglrx drivers not working). As a result, I'll have to uninstall for now. Marked status as fix committed until it's released via normal channels. Was that the right thing to do?
First time reporting and troubleshooting a bug in Linux or Ubuntu for me. Actually, just switched to Ubuntu a couple of weeks ago after getting sick of Mac OS X's progression of late for the consumer. So forgive any newbie mistakes. :) Thanks again! -- Kernel Bug related to CPUFreq; Causes Powernowd to hang https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
