 I'm going to have to agree with sleon's comment that -11 does fix the 
powernowd issue. Other issues in the -11 kernel prevent me from keeping it on 
the system (Broadcom STA and fglrx drivers not working). As a result, I'll have 
to uninstall for now. Marked status as fix committed until it's released via 
normal channels. Was that the right thing to do?

First time reporting and troubleshooting a bug in Linux or Ubuntu for
me. Actually, just switched to Ubuntu a couple of weeks ago after
getting sick of Mac OS X's progression of late for the consumer. So
forgive any newbie mistakes. :) Thanks again!
