What's the status of this bug?

I've followed up on the instructions for usbserial module loading.
Except I can't get the card to work with nm or wvdial.

My product id differs though: 0302

In /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-modem.fdi I added:
<!-- Toshiba Corp. Wireless Broadband -->
      <match key="@info.parent:usb.vendor_id" int="0x0930">
       <!-- (3G HSDPA) SM-Bus Minicard Status Port -->
        <match key ="@info.parent:usb.product_id" int="0x1302">
         <match key="@info.parent:usb.interface.number" int="0">
            <append key="modem.command_sets" type="strlist">GSM-07.07</append>
            <append key="modem.command_sets" type="strlist">GSM-07.05</append>
         </match>
        </match>
      </match>
Where the modem show up in nm when usbserial module is loaded with the correct
options but doesn't work.

Because of toshiba_acpi missing in current kernel I'm using 2.6.27-10.20
from proposed.
