Exactly the same problem to me. After upgrade from kernel 2.6.24-19 to 2.6.24-22, I have no usb device detected in my four ports hub. After "lsusb", the devices start to be detected. Kubuntu 8.04.1, 32 bits, Intel Pentium IV processor.
