Public bug reported: I have a Fujitsu Siemens Si1520 laptop. Previously when using hardy the rf kill switch worked perfectly, but after installing Intrepid 64-bit it will only turn the wireless off. After pushing it once to turn it off, the light disappears and network manager notices the change. Then when I try to turn i back on nothing happens. In order to get wireless back on I have to boot into windows and turn it on there (rebooting ubuntu doesn't help). lsmod says that iwl3945 is loaded, so I guess I have some intel wireless card.
